Prepare Ingredients
Prepare ingredients. Note: Use only zest and juice of lemon, if you prefer a smoothie without a bitter note.
- 1/4 , chopped Fennel Bulb
- 1/4 , ends trimmed, quartered, seeds removed Lemon
- 1/2 , zested, peeled, chopped Orange
- 1/2 inch , peeled, chopped Ginger

Mix It Up
Starting with the liquid, add all ingredients to blender, using half the orange zest. Blend until smooth adding more liquid if smoothie feels too thick. (Add ice if desired. Use sparingly to avoid diluting smoothie.) Tip: Adding a pinch of black pepper helps activate turmeric’s benefits.
