Make Batter
Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a separate medium bowl, crack eggs and whisk. Add buttermilk, whisk until combined. Add buttermilk mixture to the dry ingredient mix until combined.

- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 Tbsp Iodized Salt
- 2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 2 cups , yellow Yellow Cornmeal
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour

Build The Filling
Slice the apples, discarding the cores. Add to a large bowl. Add all dry ingredients to apples. Add vanilla, zest & lemon juice to apples. Mix gently to coat the fruit. Add to a baking dish.
- 1 pinch Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 tsp Iodized Salt
- 1/2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 , zested, juiced Lemon
- 1 lb , sliced Fuji Apples
- 1 lb , sliced Granny Smith Apples
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp Tapioca Starch

Assemble & Bake Cobbler
Spoon batter over fruit filling. Bake at 375F for 40 - 45 minutes.

Reserve Cheese Slices
- 4 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese Slice

Serve
Place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of your cobbler portion and broil it in oven for 3 minutes or until melted and bubbly. Enjoy!
