Cons of Diet: What you're replacing the fat with depends on the healthfulness of this diet. If the fat is being replaced with refined carbohydrates, this would be an unhealthy diet. Replacing the fat with whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins would be a better option. Make sure you're eating enough protein for satiety.

Foods to Include: Lean proteins, legumes, whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and low-fat/non-fat dairy. Be sure to include essential fatty acids by eating fatty fish, walnuts, etc.

Foods to Avoid: High-fat foods in portions that exceed the daily limit. Higher fat foods include oils, butter, nuts, seeds, nut butter, full-fat dairy products, and high-fat proteins.
